first thoughts: i am just through the first three areas in pokemon uranium, so these are my very early first thoughts. i have wanted to play this game for a very long time now and just never got around to it. i've played quite a few fangames before, specifically of the dangan ronpa variety. i have really enjoyed uranium so far. the atmosphere is great and i like the set-up. i'm not going to comment too much on the controls because my laptop can hardly run brick breaker so if i said "things feel a bit clunky" that would probably have more to do with the hardware i'm using than the game itself. i like the pokemon designs so far, for the most part i find they feel like pokemon. i think all fakemon are cool but i know it can be difficult to really get them to feel like pokemon, which i think many of these guys accomplish. i want to get more into big thoughts about this game later when i've experienced more of it but what i will say is that pokemon uranium did a much better job establishing that sense of wonder pokemon games give you than sv ever did.
